Can anyone help with this problem, the trip computer on my Megane 1.5 DCi Sport is not working the milage is shown but when I activate the button on the wiper stork nothing happens, is this a common problem with megane's and can it be fixed easily by me.

    Did it ever work?

Yeah just stopped working yesterday, it still shows mileage but won't change, if I press the button for a while it turned off the sensor lights and that message changed but nothing else works, thanks for your reply

Is it a Megane II or III? I'm guessing by you saying you push and hold the button for the auto lights its a II? I dont have the missus Scenic here with me but the trip computer changes with the buttons on the end of the right hand stalk and the button for the lights is on the end of the left one is it not? (should be 2 buttons on the one for the trip computer)

It's on the left hand stalk the one for the indicators, everything else in the car works

Should be on the end of the wiper stalk.

Page 1.46 (diagram) and 1.47 (legend) of the owners manual.

Then you're pushing the wrong one. The trip computer is on the right hand stalk (wipers).

The button on the end of the left hand stalk (lights/indicators) is for the automatic lights only.

It's always worked on the left one, mileage, distance to empty and so on always worked on the left

AFAik they dont do a car that has it on the left, though I'm open to correction.

Even on LHD cars the stalks are the same.
