Bring the phone to your local phone shop if you get a chance, they can find the owner from the simcard, just check which network the simcard is from.

Good work lochdara. I tracked down the owner of a lost phone through the sim card and the phone company recently. In a strange turn of events, the owner wasn't too pushed about getting the phone back. He directed me to his place of work to drop it off (rather than pick it up from me!). I had a day off and decided to drop the thing off and found the place completely closed on a Thursday mid morning. I contacted him again and he was surprised to find that where he worked was closed, but that I should just drop it off in some other (equally closed) building nearby.
After all that weirdness, I just told him to contact me and come to me if he wanted to get the phone back. I never heard from him again. Some people, eh?

i had in my mind it was some criminals phone that was chucked. But hey its a normal story. The guy dropped it somehow while attending the wexford Rally. He is in mullingar and needs it tomorrow for a business trip to germany. He has to find a replacment battery and back cover too. Im sure there in the ditch but i cant remember exactly where i found it :D.

Im sure he can afford a new battery seen as he will get his very expensive phone back.

shoxter helped me track the owner.
