***TCD Boards Freshers Beers - Tues 25th Sept - Campanile at 19:00***

So I notice it's that time of year and we don't have a thread yet!

For those that don't know, this is a forum meet up that happens around the first week of lectures. Usually we meet up at the Campanile (this thing) at seven PM and on to the Pav for drinks!

I took the liberty of adding a poll, I’m sure it’ll be ignored though!

Beers! \o/ I should be able to make it any day excluding the Wednesday, as it stands (society commitments). Thursday *may* yet also be dodgy, but not sure yet. I vote Monday/Tuesday, just to be safe, but I'd stick my head in to say hi at some point if it's a night I can't properly make anyway.

Don't be silly! The point of the poll is to get a date that will end up being over-rided when we realise that we wanted another day anyway... :P Actually, considering that, I should have voted differently.. I do actually want Monday or Tuesday (please!). >_<

No, not at all. It's just called that cause it's held just after Freshers Week. I went last year for the first time, and I was a third year :P

I would suggest not doing it Friday. A lot of people will be going home that day. (Including myself.)

I was going to post the exact same thing! Since you're in my class and I sorta know you, we should meet up beforehand and then we'll have to go!

So there won't be any decent beers on offer? Suppose there won't be much in the way of beer lovers turning up then. You'd want to have beers at a spot with a few Belgian ales or something available to get me interested :rolleyes:

I am literally the worst person ever. I go to beers, bump into someone I know (that I hadn't seen in a long time, swears!) beside the Pav, chat to them for ages, EVENTUALLY join the beers group again, then desert for someone else I hadn't seen in ages also, then return... Oops!

Still, a pleasure as always. I'll do better next time, swears.
