Super Bird Poo. Help

Coming out of the bank a couple of days ago I witness a bird dropping a massive load of poo on my car. It splashed off the rear roof support and down the window and door. It was a horrible sight to see and I wouldn't have believed it was from a bird if I hadn't witnessed it.

The problem is I that when I got home about 2 hours later, I watered the poo down and removed it. It came off fine for the most part, but there is a dull smudge left where impact area was. It almost looks like a glue smudge and it's annoying. I tired buffing it out but to no avail. I don't want to to go down the whole t-cut/polishing route unless I really need to. Advice?

I've found Maquires scratch remover good for mega poo glue, go easy at first to soften it up but it all comes off after a bit of gentle persuasion.

Thanks, but is there anything else? I would like to avoid the paint abrasives as much as possible. The paint is only a few weeks old.

Only I don't know where he lives. I've had poo on the car for days and it's never left a mark like that. The fecker must have been eating batteries.

    Maybe he was eating berries?

My OH swears by Fast Glass by Autoglym. Leave it on for a couple of mins and then clean off. It's not abrasive so shouldn't do any damage.

Added bonus is that it cleans the windows too!
