Just noticed the last day when I have the clutch pushed and I turn from sided to side there is like a small tearing feeling on your foot when your pushing the clutch.Just wondering is this anything to worry about..The car in question is a 2007 ford focus zetec 1.6

Universal joint from steering hitting your foot. Put your hand down there and turn the wheel

not sure what you mean by "turning side to side" but if your car is diesel powered and your getting a grinding through the clutch pedal it could be the dual mass flywheel, very expensive to fix so pray it is'nt that!

Usually turning the wheel causes revs to fluctuate as the engine is under pressure.

That said, doesn't the mk2 focus have electric power steering?
