Does any one feel it is time to see some new take on for a match stipulation in the WWE... It seems like for years now we have not had anything new or inovating at all. The days of the unvieling of the casket match/ladder/elimination chamber/hell in a cell are well gone. Has anyone any of ideas that would work in the WWE that may have or are used around the world in different wrstling brands.. Is it a case of we have seen all that we can get in regards match stiulations? No doubt if there was another one, it would result in a PPV been ran yearly using it ;-)

Sheamus could debut a GAA Hurling Match, where you both have a Hurley and just beat the crap out of each other, until only 1 is knocked out

I'd love to see a street fight actually take place in the streets!

Bring back the Championship Scramble and tag version of the Six-Pack Challenge.

I want to see a Strange Befellows/Lethal Lottery (whatever you want to call it) tag match where the winning team goes on to face each other straight after. So rivals are forced to work together to get the win before they get the match they want against each other.

Always pictured it as both teams having a mid-card face champion who then defends their belt after getting the win but I think a heel variant where there's one heel champion defending their belt in what's effectively a mini-tournament could work.

So, for example, a WWE Championship match could be CM Punk and Cena tagging against the team of Orton and Ziggler. Punk needs to work with Cena to defend his belt and Cena needs to assist Punk to get the one on one match he wants straight after. If Orton/Ziggler won they'd face each other for the belt. Simples. ;)

The Punjabi Prison was the last one, wasn't it?

And weren't there a couple in WCW that weren't in WWE? I've never seen them, but what was Wargames like? And then Wasn't there a triple cell one as well, or was that just in Ready to Rumble?

First Punjabi Prison Match was in 2006, Championship Scramble was in 2008.

how about a clean match, where there's no outside interference and nobody cheats? or is that too much to ask?

For me the build up, context and reason for the stipulation is more important than the stipulation itself. Couldn't tell you who wrestled in the last TLC or Hell in the Cell but still vividly everything about this :pac::

Back when I used to run efeds, one of my favorite parts of it was thinking up new matches. My character ended up having two specialities...

    1. The Shadowrun - One on one match where each wrestler needs to pick up three different wins; a pin fall, a submission and a count out. A match designed to show who is the best, since one fluke win wouldn't be enough to pick up the win.

    2. SYATG (Smash Your Ass Through Glass) - Basically an 8 man tables match, but with glass panes instead of wood. Not highly original, but lots of fun to write :P

    Do you watch much CZW?

I would love to see another War Games match, it would be great if there were two feuding factions.

If you like different types of matches OP, CZW do a Cage of Death event every year and it's fantastic. The goal is to throw your opponent out of the cage so there's ridiculous highspots galore. COD 5 & 6 are definitely worth checking out.

There's also the tangled web matches, basically it's a huge web of barbed wire in one ring and another one just filled with weapons. It's worth it just to see the crazy set up.

Then of course, there's the Tournament of Death every year. In before "garbage wrestling" :p

Couldn't remember the Championship Scramble, but looking at what's involved it reminds me of at least one hardcore title match. Only difference is that they all started in the ring at the same time.

Ive always been iterested in seing a tlc match inside hell in a cell :P would certainly be differant and probably alot better than type of crap they likely to come up with lol

Kennel from Hell was my favourite, damn I miss the Bossman so much.

since they cant use legit violence or blood anymore most of the speciality matches are now redundant. remember when a cage or hell in a cell seemed very ominous with them playing that "dun dun dun" music before it lowered!

although the hhh/taker match is prob the most recent exception and they even gave the hell in a cell its own entrance music :pac:

good idea though would need a bigger cell to fit the tables in around the ring, also maybe some chains or some edges where people can stand or grab onto near the top of the cage to get some high spots in it

I know it's not a stipulation but I'd love it if they brought back time limit draws. There's too many interferences and countouts nowadays just to keep certain wrestlers strong and to keep feuds going for longer. If they threw in the odd 10/15 minute time limit and gave both wrestlers a decent amount of offence in that time, both of them would come out looking strong, or more importantly neither would come out looking weak. This leads to another match were it's declared there must be a winner.

There's nonly one heel I can think of that usually won clean in WWF and that was Kurt Angle. These days they seem to just want it to look like there's no other way the face would lose if there wasn't outside interference or pulling of the tights.

I think it's a pity the WWE never embraced water around the ring like WCW used to do for some events. Then you can have moments like this:

I honestly think they'd get a good few extra buys marketing water as an attraction for one of their B-show PPVs, or else use it to get a ratings bump for a Raw episode.
