Hi guys.im setting up a tank i was given..theres no sucker cups with the filter to attach it to tank wall..would it be safe for fish if i used clear silicone and let it cure before i put fish in?thanks

The problem with that would be that you couldn't remove it for cleaning or maintainance. You can often buy suction cups on ebay
