    Hi everyone,
Ok, so I am new to this im 21 and I'm naturally very skinny and find it very difficult putting on weight I am about 140lbs and 5"8 I need to build muscle but i don't know where to begin.

I'm looking to bulk up and need to know what kind of things I should be eating? I am working 4.30am till 11.30am then off until about 3pm until 7pm and I am planning to join a 24hour gym so I need to know when and what I should be eating and what type of weights I should be doing I'm completely clueless about where to start.

I would like to hear any tips or advice anyone can give me, nutrition, workout programs and supplements.

    hope to hear back :)

Bodyweight stuff. Push ups, supine rows, assisted chin-ups, lunges, bodyweight squats. Youtube all these yokes.

On the diet side, it's eat big to get big. That simple.

Google stronglifts or starting strenght in a few months and start your gym work then.

Eat More, it's as simple as that. Going by your weight, you need around 2250 calories for maintenance (Ie-keeping the same weight as you are now) So add 300+ calories to this.

Ensure you get plenty of protein into your diet. If you find it difficult to eat lots, as said before drink milk as it's packed with calories. Try eating nuts or peanut butter aswell as it's very calorie dense!

There is no need to add supplements to your diet if you can meet your calorie goal for the day. However Creatine is probably the cheapest and best bulking supplement out there. You can easily grab a 1kg bag for 15 euro from Myprotein.ie and that will last you 200 servings, so 200 days. Have a look here for more info on it- http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=112484941&highlight=creatine+FAQ

Any gym worth their salt will have a trainer who'll show you and can give you a detailed outline of workouts and exercises but if you want to research a few before you go to the gym take a look at the hundreds here- http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/

The important thing is to stay motivated, so set yourself a reasonable goal, say x amount of a lb weight gain for Christmas and go from there.
