    Travelling to Albufiera, Portugal shortly.

Would appreciate any recommendations for restaurants for both lunch & evening meals.

    Thank you in advance.

If you go to the beach through the tunnel look up to your right , you'll see a big "restaurant" sign along the cliff top. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's called O Penedo . We ate there 3 nights out of 7. In general try and avoid the restaurants around the square , they're overpriced and food isn't nearly as nice as the restaurants in the side streets

Will you be driving op? I have a list but I can't find it at the mo,there's a few in the old town but we found a few lesser known places a few miles away that were top class.
One is near Guia,It's called Saudede, but as I said ill reply later with more info.
    Have u kids with you?

    I appreciate all the replies.
Not sure on a car at the moment, considering it though (perhaps for a few days).

No kids & will be steering clear of any places that have the guys outside, shouting for people to step inside.

The trip advisor restaurant reviews for Albufeira are usually spot on and worth checking out.

On the Montechoro side of the strip is a restaurant that I tried in June. Its called O Luistano and the food and service were superb, both adult and children. It's not as expensive as the strip restaurants either.

Fisherman's beach restaurants just off the old town are good and its a nice experience. If you are into fish then Tres Palmeiras do excellent seafood dishes
