Anyone used Irishfit?

Anyone used Irishfit before up in Ballyogan? My brother is having all sorts of minor knee pains, pretty sure it's due to an incorrect setup. Was on their site last night and they seem pretty good.

I used them before , got the grid roller from them.

Staff seem to be very knowledgeable and will certainly recommend them.

My housemate and I both had knee niggles that had us off our bikes, got bike fits done in irishfit and were cured almost instantly, I'm going back again for another fit before the start of next season as I've since changed a few bits.

In my experience from a couple of years ago they're cheap and diligent.

Bike fit is a bit of a black art though, and it's best to go in with limited expectations.

I had two bikes fitted there recently. Was very pleased with the service. The guy (Leo I think his names is) was very thorough, and spent aaaaages on my racing bike (which I bought about two months before that), getting it to fit me just right. I had been experiencing numbness in my left hand after racing and training before then, and haven't had it since. He does video analysis, and sends a full report afterwards. Price was about EUR140 for the two bikes (took about 2 hours)

He's not super chatty, but he knows his stuff, and answered all the weird/stupid questions I had. I'd recommend him.

I have to say I had a mixed experience with them. I made an appointment for a bike fit. I was experiencing some knee pain after buying a new bike. They made some minor adjustments. The new bike position didn't resolve the issue and I followed up with Irishfit -they weren't that accommodating in making any further appointments to help. In the end after chasing him a bit for advice/adjustments I gave up and made changes myself to saddle position and cleats which resolved the issue. I agree its a bit of a dark art and a lot of this involves some trial and error but after giving them 90 quid for a 40 minute session I expected better after sales service.

They must have speeded things up. When I went a couple of years ago it took hours.

Went there 2 years ago and thought it wasn't great. Guy didn't really have a good understanding of biomechanics, the fit was very formulatic, knee angle should be X ete. When I asked about effects of riding style affecting fit.....
That said, it would be a good starting point and it works for a large % of people
