EDIT- Actually doesn't seem to be the bargain that I thought last night, it is available for €79 from Amazon.de and .fr. Hopefully we may see similar prices in the shops for the kindle then I may buy but not when I have to pay €20 than Germany and France:mad::mad:

Amazon.co.uk have announced the release of the Kindle Fire on 25th October which they won't deliver here... However when I tried a few different models to see would they deliver here and they will deliver the new kindle e-reader which is due for release on the 12th September :) Wasn't going to get a kindle as I got the playbook only last week but for this price I may just order one.

I am not sure why there is a p&p charge of £5.19confused.png There was no option for super saver delivery.
If people are interested in the Kindle fire they can use parcel motel to get it delivered here (if in or near Dublinmad.png)

No delivery charge for me (after I selected the parcel motel address) Before that it was £5.19 with my Irish address. Means its approx €91 delivered. Not bad.

I actually cancelled as the price on Amazon.fr and amazon.de is €79 and it is about €20 more delivered here which is not really a bargain although cheaper than the current cheapest model. Bit pissed off with Amazon! We should be able to get the kindle at a fair price

  • I have the Kindle Keyboard and was wondering should I "upgrade" to this? I put upgrade in quotation marks as I see this newer model seems to have inferior specs to my old Kindle. For example battery life and storage space is less. Also there are no stereo speakers on this newer model. The only advantage I can see is that it is lighter. Any other Kindle owners agree?

Sorry to be dense but I don't understand your reply. Is that a literary reference?

Sorry about that but we're not here 24 hours a day. Maybe you should have a 'chat' with your brother.
