Did anyone buy membership for the year, just wondering if its worth paying €250 all at once or pay on the day? Will probarly try and go 2-3 times per week.

Not to sound like a smart ass, but like you could just count it up?

Let's say if you go 3 times a week to the gym at €5 a go, that means in your 8/9 month academic year you will spend €480/€540. So you'd be better off getting a membership.

If you decide to go twice a week then you will be paying €320/€360 so it would still be of value to get the membership.

Is it not cheaper than that for students no?

No. Im nearly certain that it is still €250 for students. But it is for the whole year instead of the academic year.

As fizzyorange said, do the maths.

Also non members have very restricted hours for the pool, 7-9am, 2-4pm and 8.30-9.30pm Mon-Fri and 9-10am and 2-4pm Sat/Sun. Not sure if this applies to the gym too but I suspect it does.

No it's €5xx for the public as far as I know, don't have the exact figure.

    It's €250 for students still.

There a lot of threads about the gym already. A quick search never killed any one.

But I suppose, why should you risk being the first.
