A Chara Can you tell me if a NFQ Level 8 Minor award , and 8 Major award hold the same weight ? Have read on NFQ website that they are for patial completion of a major award, does this mean minor award is only part of NFQ 8, and you need more data to complete NFQ 8 (Major award) My understanding is that NFQ 8 is higher…

My understanding is that NFQ 8 is higher level than BSc (NFQ 7), the course in question is:

HI OP
No they don't hold the same weight generally speaking. A minor award would be a part of the major award. Basically you would get level 8 credits towards the overall award, (major) by doing the minor award.
