Was wondering what diplexer i could use to mix a group b and cd aerial i am in newry coming of the newry north transmitter, but the thing i have noticed is bbc1 is on ch51 for newry north site, and rte1 clermont is on channel 52, to me this would seem to cause problems with the weak newry north transmitter combing with the strong signal from clermont so close together . i have seen houses in the area that are using this setup but dont know how the aerials are mixed together what diplexer to use ? or maybe simple splitter?

Analogue transmissions will be gone in a few weeks. Newry North will use channels 40, 43 & 46 for Freeview, Clermont will have Saorview on channel 52.

You could use a diplexer such as the Triax 50/52, or you may find one from another maker with a split at channel 48.

Or an ordinary combiner/splitter would probably work alright: there won't be ghosting issues with digital. There will be higher signal losses than with a diplexer, though, so you wouldn't want to be struggling in this respect.
