What's the craic on the Ardilaun - is it a nice spot? Walkable to town?

Also, how about eats in Galway City - recommendations?

    And lastly

And decent pub in town that don't mind children in them till the law kicks in?

Ardilaun - probably a 15 minute walk - but beautiful hotel (real family run style to it)...

Eat's - depends on what you want (are you bringing the kids?) - KC Blakes - Bar 8 (on the Docks) - McSwiggans in the evening is lovely...

Pub's with kids - don't think any of them are too bothered, might want to keep away from the really crowded ones down Quay St with the kids...

Ardilaun is about 20 mins walk

For eating see the many threads on this topic, search the forum for "restaurant" and various places will have reviews. Or just walk into Shop Street and check out the restaurants there.

Children are usually ok until 8pm in all pubs if you're eating. The law says 9pm but ultimately it's up to the owner. Jury's Inn has a popular back garden with fencing so the kids can't run off.
