DAS PAYMENTS?

we normally get the disadvantaged area payments in september, does anyone know when they will be paid?

I think it was mid sept last year but I`m not 100% on that. Could do with a few bob now though

farmers journal few weeks ago said, das 3rd week sept if cleared, 50% sfp think 18th oct and 1st dec all digital maps done so less delays,

usually comes in time for the ploughing so the minster doesn't get a hard time from farmers whet he shows up for the cameras

Still waiting on the DAS payment, have you received yours ? Received 50% of the SPF back in Sept but no sign of the DAS. Where the new regulations implemented or not this year - the 0.3LU per hectare that is ?

you wont get it in 2012 if you did not have the .30 in 2011. Very unfair to backdate the law.

No, I have not gotten mine. Got IFA looking into it for me as I couldn't get through to Portlaoise - tried for a week, and when I eventually did get to an answering machine they never rang me back, awful service. Another man went into the Dept in Galway and their staff couldn't get through to Portlaoise.

Journal had it back in August that the department would send you a letter if you had'nt met the requirements in 2011. Did'nt expect one, did'nt receive one but also, did'nt receive any payment either. So, I'm not alone but has anyone received it ?

I havent got mine rang about it 2 weeks after we were suposed to get it and told it had gone for a sattilite inspection rang the next week it needed a ground inspection a lad came out 2 weeks later and when he looked at the maps he said i had clamed for 6 parcles and only 5 were marked out when i showed what i sudmitted he said that it was never marked out in portlaoise and they fcuked up his words and the next line out of him it could take 6 weeks for them to re-digitise it also the sattilte maps were from 5-6 years ago that he had now all my payments are on hold till its sorted aahhhhhhhhhh!

I also got a letter telling me i was to receive it. Still waiting for payment.

Finally got through to Portloaise. The herd are still been updated so they are about 2 months behind at the moment. If you had your stock in last March, you should have been paid, if not expect payment in the next 6 to 8 weeks..

Got a text off the IFA this evening, I've been cleared for payment. They asked for herd numbers of people who'd been having trouble at the last meeting I was at so I stuck up my hand

No its cut by 30% and you had to fill out a separate application to prove your entitled to it.
