Better app than RideWithGps

    Is there a better free app than RideWithGps..if i create a map with a few mountain climbs on it...it calculates the total average gradient of the full cycle compared to the average graident of the individual climbs?i also used maymyride before but i found it hit and miss also...

    You can create segments (similar to Strava) with RWGPS that should give you all the specific metrics for that section be it a climb, flat or descent. Think you will have to create the route, save it and then go back and create the segments you're interested in.

    Or you could give Strava itself a look?

    Presuming that you are using RGPS on the PC just click and drag in the elevation profile box to highlight the section you want and you'll see the details for that.

    Works with Strava too.
