    Bertie and Orton
If we were to say the last two weeks were among the best of Alberto Del Rio’s career, it wouldn’t be much of an exaggeration. Two SmackDowns ago, The Essence of Excellence forced Randy Orton (!) to tap out to a savage Cross Armbreaker, and Del Rio picked up a win over the furious Kane this past Friday on the blue brand as well. Del Rio is surging ahead as Night of Champions — and another showdown with World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus — looms ahead. How will The Mexican Aristocrat follow up those two bravura performances as he hurtles toward his destiny?
    Those "anger collages"
Daniel Bryan and Kane have been assigned to create “anger collages” this week representing the things that get them the most worked up. We’ve already made a couple mock-ups of what we think they might bring to class (BRYAN | KANE), but we’re pretty sure what they come up with will be must-see television all the same. Also, what’s going to happen to poor Harold first? Chokeslam through the refreshments table? Or a “No!” Lock in the middle of the sharing circle? We’re shivering with anticipation here.
    AJ and Vickie
Raw General Manager AJ Lee’s job might be in jeopardy, thanks to Vickie Guerrero’s one-woman vendetta to remove the pint-sized wild card from the red brand’s front office. AJ, who’s been battling speculation about her mental stability for the entire summer, didn’t exactly help her case by jumping Vickie and attacking her this past week. Will AJ’s run as GM burn out before it ever really begins? Or will she squash the opposition and prove her mettle against Vickie’s schemes?
Whats superman up to this week?
John Cena looked peeved at CM Punk to say the least last week after The Second City Saint left Jerry “The King” Lawler lying in a heap. The Cenation leader has never been one to stand for disrespect — particularly toward Lawler — and it stands to reason he might have some kind of retaliation in mind for Punk. Speaking of which …
    R.E.S.T.E.C.P.A
The WWE Universe is willing to forgive a lot when it comes to their champions, but a vicious beating of Jerry Lawler in the middle of a steel cage might be pushing it a bit. Even CM Punk’s staunchest supporters over the last year might begin to question The Voice of the Voiceless’ actions against Lawler this past week, not to mention the mean streak that seems to have been born out of his perceived state of perpetual disrespect. Punk will no doubt have words for the WWE Universe, Lawler and John Cena when Raw returns, but the only way to find out what is to tune in at 8/7 CT on Monday night.

    Giving this one a miss.
But dammit i want to see those anger things.

You'll probably see those within the first 2 hours of the show, do you not think? Last week I just went asleep after a few of the anger management segments had been shown. D-Bry FTW.

During one of the anger management recaps on Smackdown, I did notice a wrestling trashcan in the corner. Was half expecting it to have a kendo stick and a stop sign in it.

Who do you think they'll try and shoehorn into this now that it's gone over so well? Big Show?

Bryan and Punk are the only reasons to watch this show anymore.

    Recording this one :pac:

Giving it a miss this week too, not so much out of choice though just college early in the morning.
Rumours going round that there's gonna be some big CM Punk angle launched tonight in his hometown. But I wouldn't hold my breath after all those rumours of a big summer angle being launched at Raw 1000 (Punk's heel turn has been a pretty minor story compared to the last two "summer angles").

Edit: Actually, can someone tell me what youtube channel to look for tomorrow morning to get a stream of the show? I usually download it but college networks don't allow torrents and anytime I've tried to watch it on youtube I just find a load of spoilers.

I wonder how many recaps of HHH's "possible retirement" promo from last week will be shown

I think AJ might team up Bryan and Kane

Don't know whether to watch or not could only get through a hour and a half last week, never has this problem with the two hours but since they have gone 3 it really is hard to get through a whole show.

I'm actually considering switching to Impact because the product is so poor these days.

    A serious rejuvenation is needed.

That being said I'll probably watch the stupid thing anyway this week.

Since my debate about TNA on here, I have been keeping a closer eye on Impact and I still prefer Raw. I guess that's just because it's been there longer, that's just how I am really. But I have to say, I like where things are going with CM Punk & John Cena at the moment.

I just search "wwe raw 08 04 2012 full show" Nearly always the first result. If not, it wont be far off. It does be uploaded loads of times and very rarely does it spoil anything.

VANGELISV9XHD6 posts up the shows as well. Tends to have SmackDown on a Friday afternoon as well. But there's plenty of people on there uploading it. It's a lot easier minus ads.

Sheamus is rambling a bit. But at least he's no longer irrelevant to this segment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭Professional Griefer

    Poor Sheamie.

Sheamus' mic work is noticeably poor in this segment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,909 ✭✭✭greenman09

    Fall over please

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭Professional Griefer

    Lets light it up...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 846 ✭✭✭MAJR

Sheamus should have played the "I dont have to beat up 60+year old men to prove myself" card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 846 ✭✭✭MAJR

And cant we get Regal or Striker or someone out on commentary? Michael Cole shouldn't be on his own.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,988 ✭✭✭SirDelboy18

Wonder if Ziggler and Orton will have a Briefcase vs WWE Contract match.

Would give Ziggler some more momentum, would take Orton off screens for a few months, and would give Ziggler 2 guaranteed feuds when he is champion.

Or at least have the different guests like they had on there last week. I guess Josh is dead anyway.

    What i miss?

I was surprised they exposed Sheamus to that partisan crowd. He came off looking quite flustered.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,548 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

How long until someone clotheslines AJ when she's skipping?

Anyone else think it's a bad idea to try and turn a pretty over guy heel around the time he's going to be in front of his home crowd without having him put his home town down?

And so nice of the refs to hold Jerry for Punk to beat up.

Yeah, I thought the way the segment looked was that Lawler was beating the snot out of Punk until the Refs got involved.

    Wow. Orton loses again

A 'main event' 2/3rds the way through the show? Does she understand what exactly a main event is?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,166 ✭✭✭Stereomaniac

No. But that makes no sense anyway when Punk didn't mention the fact that it wasn't on last.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭Professional Griefer

Did I hear, ''you left Daniel Bryan''?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,282 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit
