I thought they were great cars uP until about 2 hours ago

What year? I like the current model and the non world rally version of the last model. I've driven the 1.6 hdi in both. Very good engines for simple a-b stuff.

Why?

Em a 05 model. I'm only driving to and from work so don't warrant a diesel. The car is about €4000 with nearly 80,000 on the clock.

I have an 05 1.6 hdi,and it is incredibly reliable.If I'd listened to the perceived wisdom,I would never have bought it.It has cost 200 ish in non standard service items in 5 years.
