    Hi guys,

I just found this spoon and I haven't seen them before. What to you guys think, is it some kind an Irish Army spoon. In this case what period and is there any collecting value?

Its Irish Army for sure, EIRE is a dead give away, as well as the 'FF' symbol (Fianna Fail - Army logo). As for value? Well, more novel value I guess, its not silver, just a standard issue spoon of the 30's/40's perhaps, produced in their thousands probably. Although, I've not seen any marked like this, so maybe its worth something small, but, dont get too excited.

In days gone by, you were issued with Knife, fork and spoon when you joined the Army. You could ring military archives and check what years were army numbers 407533 were used?
