Your Favorite Season ?

Autumn is coming, I like a bit of cool crispness in the air, without the darkness of winter, it's perfect. In winter I want to crawl away for a few weeks. Dark sky when I go to work, dark sky when I come home again. Spring I start anew.

    Your favourite season ?

    Winter.
    Frosty Mornings.
Cozy fire, comfort food, Halloween, Christmas.

    ...and hopefully snow. :)

I see the good in every season. Except summer. I vote to have it renamed wintautring.

I love autumn and winter. Autumn because the evenings start to get darker and the air becomes cooler and fresher. I love how trees look as the leaves change colour too.

I love frosty weather (except when I'm driving) and am more likey to exercise outdoors when it's cold than in sunshine. The great thing about winter is coming home, drawing the curtains and lighting a huge fire.

Summer for the calmness of dusk, or Winter for the solitary walks.

I love winter. I prefer the cold, love dark evenings and fingers crossed for some snow. I also feel it's usually drier in winter than summer here.

Autumn without a doubt, leaves falling, darker evenings, love the time around Halloween, there's something really cool about that time of year. Much prefer that to the summer

Summer. If we had right one.

I love the long evenings and early mornings, and drinking beer with mates in the garden after the day. It's not too hot but it's calm and you can just relax.

That's what makes me envy some other countries climates, not necessarily the heat, but you can always just hang out outside without the rain and dampness.

We don't have seasons. It's just damp or cold or damp and not so cold.

I like all seasons for their own merits. By the time one is finished I'm looking forward to the next one coming in.

Your right but occasionally in those seasons we get a glimpse of what it should be like. Today for instance here in Mayo (whos team won the semi final) its a nice dry Autumn day it has a crisp feel to it, to me it holds that promise of nice log fires, muffling up in winter coats and Christmas.

    Autumn.

Autumn, in terms of predictability. We expect cooler weather with the odd day or two of sun. In winter it will piss, snow or ice up randomly, and I hate the cold with a passion.

    Our summer is a joke.

I like autumn and winter equally. There is something just not right about donning tshirts and shorts, its never sat easily with me. Much prefer to layer up, test out a new winter jacket perhaps, and head out into the harsh elements. The only thing I like about summer is when Im lucky enough to be boarding a plane to a country which actually has a summer.
