Depends where you plan on getting done usually around €200 upwards

You should be looking at approx €250 in a professional garage.

Thanks, from what I've seen the engine in the C-Max is not as easy to work on as a fiesta?

We do these for €230, which would be about average I'd say.

Just a quick one, is the interval the same for the 1.6 diesel?

The 1.6 diesel interval is 240,000km, but a lot of dealers recommend doing them earlier than that, at around 200,000km.

Is there a maximum number of years,if you are not going to hit the mileage interval?

    Yes 10 years.

    Thank you for that George.
Is there anything else, specific to the 1.6 diesel, I should be aware of?

Make sure the water pump is changed with the timing belt kit. It may also be a good idea to inspect the crankshaft damped pulley when it is removed and replace it if necessary. Around €300 should cover the replacement of the timing belt kit and water pump, crank pulley will cost extra if needed.

injector seals give trouble also the oil system is very intolerant to poor upkeep leading to turbo failure and this will happen again if the oil system is not sufficiently flushed out
