How to get new router from UPC?

    Hey, recently a tech visited my house because cable was somehow "mystically" pulled out of the UPC wire box (it's a locked room, no idea how that could happen), then internet came up, then went down again for 2 days, now on router I changed few settings and it came back online, but I am experiencing connection interuptions, it interupts for 40 mins then comes back online again.
    The logs say:
    Sun Sep 02 13:47:24 2012 Critical (3) Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - ...


    Sun Sep 02 12:50:22 2012 Warning (5) Map Reject - Not Authorized for Requested Downstream Traffic ...



    and so on, over last night it printed over 50 of those.
    And over night I noticed it's been resetting all time.
