School Internet Forum Rules

    Hi All,

We're setting up an Internet forum on our primary school website for parents to communicate with each other.

Has anyone got any good/bad experiences of running similar? One thing we will be adhering to, is users will have to use their actual names as opposed to usernames.

Has anyone got a link to a set of forum rules we could also use for our site?

    Many thanks in advance.

I'd recommend drawing up your own set of rules and the comparing them to an established set to make sure you didn't miss anything. This will probably give you a 'better fit'.

This is a very complete set of rules, danger is people won't bother to read them:

If you could make the following a bit more professional then it would suit.

You need to make it clear as to what you the forum is there for, and what is inappropriate content there, as we all have different opinions on that.
