Projector turning itself off?

Guys I have this projector: http://www.projectorreviews.com/infocus/in1/index.php it's served me well or years but a while back it started randomly turning itself off. It would be on and running but it would just make a louse clicking (almost bang) noise and turn off as if you had just pulled out the plug. It happened the rare odd time over the last while but now its doing it every time after a half and hour or so.

Any idea what I can do to try to fix it? What could it be?

Could be that it is overheating. Projectors will power down to save damage.
Did you check it for dust build up inside?

Sorry for the late reply ut thanks for your help. I'm not sure it is but I'm not sure. I took it apart - as much as I could do - but still no difference. It now turns off after 20 minutes each time.

Where could I bring it to get it repaired do you think?

Some projectors turn themselves off after the blub has reached it's max (or close to) number of operational hours. Might be worth checking how may hours yours has run for in the menus and if your projector has such a feature.
