Winter Rates.

    I'll be playing The Island at 55 euro from 1st November.

    Any other good winter rates you would recommend ?

    Not a fan of temporary greens.

    In some clubs if this standing water doesnt shift I think they will buy a bunch of ice skates and make a killing on this during the winter :o

    Yes , it would need to be dry and the full course to pay that.

    Just a chance to tick off the top courses at an (ok-ish) price.

    Ballybunion old is €65 and Casheen is €45 and iirc Waterville is €65 and Tralee €60 or €65, no temporary greens (unless they are carrying out specific works), but bare in mind fairways are out of play during winter months so you must drop off to the side, this does not effect the enjoyment of the courses too much IMO.

    Grange only use temps for frost, greens are open all year round.:D
