    Hi,

I am new to stained glass and rather than buy a new glass grinder I am looking around for a second hand one.

Now I am checking all the usual places, EBAY etc

Would anybody out there have one in their garage or home that they don't use any more and would be willing to sell?

If you know any where else that I would check on line let me know.

    Hi Mimbo,

I'd imagine it would be very hard to find a second hand glass grinder in Ireland. It's the one piece of equipment that is worth the investment. I started stained glass as a hobby over 10 years ago, and I still have the glass grinder I bought back then. It's a simple one
    http://www.glastar.com/catalog/grinding/diamondstar.cfm but it still
works fine for me. I have several different grinding head sizes for
    smaller pieces.
If it's a hobby you think you'll stick at, I would invest in a new one.
    I bought mine here http://www.pangurbawn.com/store/ , which
are now based in Cavan. I know he sells them, but cant seem
to find them on his site (just email him perhaps).

Best of luck with your search and enjoy glassing!
