Played up there this morning for my first round in quite some while and there was lots of standing water everywhere and patchy fairways.
So I was wondering, is it just Bray, or are other courses just as waterlogged at the moment?

Pretty harsh thread title considering its been the wettest summer since time began!!

In answer to your question I'd say most courses around are pretty wet underfoot.

Yea, plenty of courses are on the wet side at the moment.

I was up at Bray about three weeks back and it was in perfect condition:

Think the thread title is ridiculously unfair and should be changed by a mod.

Agree with the other comments re thread title,it does in fact drain better than a lot of courses around.
Instead of creating a thread why didn't you ask a member or the lads in the pro shop....?
In fact, even better, consider the recent weather and use ur own bit of cop on that should have told you parts of the course will be soggy.

    Btw,not a member.

What planet have you been on for the last 3 months?, in case you didn't know it's been raining non stop since May.

I've only played it once and it was perfectly dry.
That was one of the few positives as I thought it was better suited for herding goats or maybe yaks.
Very dry though. No swampage on view to speak of.

I don't think that's a fair comment.People spouting nonsense regarding courses can be bad for business. And when the comments are so off the mark they should be allowed to be challenged.

by all means challenge them, that's what boards.ie is for. asking for them to be deleted/edited on thread is back seat moderating. report it and let the mods deal with moderating
