    Plasma vs LED

    Panasonic Plasma ST50B

    Lg LED LM660T

I prefer passive 3D but Panasonic don't seem to do it. I've read that plasma gives a better quality picture. The LG has reports of suffering from "banding" when watching soccer etc.

I plan to call into Harvey Norman's etc and try both of them out.

The Panasonic 3D is very good, you can set the depth levels to minimise the strain on your eyes - I have the 60" version of that set and its amazing.

I mainly use it for movie viewing, it's very dark, HD look glorious on it, only 3 HDMI inputs is a minus if you need more.

Any 3D glasses work on it too, I got 4 pairs of Samsung cheap watch battery glasses when I bought my one.

I sell both pana and lg and can tell u that Panasonic are a much superior and reliabe tv. Plus if u buy them in any expert shop u get a 5 yr warranty. That 50 st50 is a superb model. Also they do a 42 and. 47 and 55 et5 led models which use passive glasses (come with 4 pairs). But I am a big fan of their high end plasma models.
