collecting parcel from an post?

    I don't know what section to put this in...basically I ordered goods from a clothing website monday and they were dispatched the next morning (around 6am) so I thought they would have been here yesterday..but nope, and not today either.

    I'm going on holiday monday morning and leaving around 7am so I really need them. I ordered from another site on the same day/time and that package was dispatched an hour after the other one, and arrived yesterday.

    So i'm fairly sure my items will be out for delivery monday morning....is there any way the post office would let me collect the parcel before then? My post man usually delivers at 9am so it will be too late to wait until monday.

    If you bring ID your local delivery office should be able to look after you - I'm a frequent collector from my local An Post depot. :)

    I assume you have checked that they were sent by post not courier.

    If you are sure they have been sent by post then do as Judgement Day says.

    Looks like your items were marked as dispatched but not actually dispatch or the are being drop shipped from another country. Were you supplied with a tracking number and the name of the carrier?
