Just wondering if I was to pick Geography and English as one of my four first year choices and then in second year, could this be a path to becoming a geography and english teacher in a secondary school?

Yup, if you graduate with a BA in Geography and English then if you get a teaching qualification and so on, you'll be able to teach these to secondary school kids.
