    Will all cars need to be altered in some form or another for the DAB crossover?

    I thought DAB was pretty much dead. Still only RTE using it and some stations in the larger Urban areas as far as I know.

    What DAB crossover? As far as I was aware it as trialled here and there's still a few RTE stations on it but that's about it?

    Unless you're talking about the Digital Switchover? But that's TV only.

    FM is here to stay a while yet

    I heard somewhere recently that it was changing over for radios too, that solves my query! Thanks

    AFAIK it is on the continent, but not here (for now). If it does happen, my understanding is that it will make the old radios useless.
