Missing from abbeyleix, laois
Black and white springer spaniel bitch.4 years old.last seen yesterfay evening in pen.

6 o clock yesterday evening was when i noticed my 2 dogs missing from the pen with the back gate swinging open.wire mesh that was used to fence the pen was squished to ground level like an accordian.couldnt have been the dogs as the wire was too strongly set for the dogs.labrador was retrieved by laois dog warden this morning on portlaoise road after being struck by a car.in vets now in i.c.u

to anyone with the springer, she is not pure springer..probably has feck all money value to any strangers.more of a loved family member than anything.dog is very distinctively marked and microchiped.

F*cking sickens my sh*t when i hear these stories . Really makes the blood boil . Shouldnt the microchip be easily trackable . I hope your springer comes home safe and sound and your lab make a full recovery .

Sorry to hear your story DJ. The pricks who do such a thing deserve to die roaring.
These scum look at our dogs like they are cash, they have no concept of the bond we have with them, not to mention the bond our families have with them. I'd love to know such people and set up a wee reception for them hosted by a few lads from the local GC .

Hi folks thanks for the sound words, But...


Dogs arrived thru my front door while letting the terrier out for a piss!!both dogs are in good form..a bit skinny but other than that appears to be good.although im over the moon i still feel bad for the poor family that own the lab that was hit on the road

Yeah warden and gaurds told me it was my lab that was hit.white feet and all..i have both rang now and got a bollockin from gaurds over waisting their time.gobsheens..but feck it..im happy

I'm reading that someone was still involved as the dogs couldn't squish it & the collar was gone??
Might be worth a sensor light & cheap CCTV camera
