Is it a freeview or freesat or free-to-air satellite receiver? Freeview is the UK's equivalent to our Saorview with an aerial. What is the make and model of the receiver?

The magic eye only works with a Sky receiver but the co-ax cable will carry an RF signal.

It should/may have an "RF out" to feed the current channel being watched to the bedroom but it won't be possible to change channels with a Sky magic eye.

You'll require a co-ax cable feed from the satellite dish to the satellite receiver in the bedroom and a spare output on the LNB attached to arm on the dish.
