    Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the pay is for sales position in Cork city. It's internal sales in an office. Not telesales. I started on administration and am with the company 2 years. It is a promotion into sales position.

    Thanks

Well it is impossible to tell you what you should be paid, but in my experience (I used to work for a job website in Dublin which had about 20 sales people) generally the newer sales people would be on a basic wage like 18k but would get commission of about 10% - 20% for each sale. This was a few years ago, before the bubble popped, so things might be different now.

Good luck in Cork, the move will do you good. But honestly with your personality front line sales would be a disaster. I think someone like you should avoid any contact with the public!

I'm going to assume that you two know each other offline, and that those comments are in fact a primitive form of friendship. If not, you know where the report button is.

And, ahh, necro thread, so closed :)
