    Hi,
I'm considering buying an opel Astra something along the lines of these

I'm looking for some info from people who own them or know stuff about cars. The most important question I have is are these good value? What should I offer on either one of these??? Which is the best Astra to get by this I mean the Club life etc models? Is there much difference between years the oldest I want to go is 2006. Is the astra a good car or are they riddled with problems. As am sure you can tell I know very little about cars so any feedback is welcomed.
    Cheers,
    Slick.:D

Personally out of them two, go for the 3 door GTC (your first link).

The 5 door is €2500 cheaper

+1. The five door is well enough priced but I would still haggle for more off because a) it's petrol in a diesel obsessed country even though for most people it is the better option and b) it is the old model even though the current model came out in 2010. It's actually one car that you don't see a lot of come to think of it, even though previous generations of Astra always sold well here.

I reckon things went downhill when Opel stopped sponsoring the Irish soccer team.
