Was on one of the trails today and picked up GoPro helmet cam when I stopped to put my chain back on.
It didn't fall of someone today or yesterday so may have been there since the weekend or longer. Cleaned it up and it looks perfect.
I know they're not cheap so I'm sure it's owner would only be too happy to be reunited with it.
Maybe ssomeone here knows someone who lost one recently?

fair play OP, a lot of people would have pocketed it and made no attempt to return it to its owner. Maybe try epic or mad forums aswell?

Not yet, but with a username like 'bitemybanger' it's only a matter of time!:D

Fair play to you for trying to reunite it with the owner op. A suspect most would not have even tried.

OP if youre on a full blown mission to return it you could contact GoPro themselves. They sometimes put up pics of faces of owners asking them to get in touch.

There's normally a pic of the owner at the start of the vid as they try and figure out if it's filming.

Gopros latest desktop software encourages you to register the serial number with them so its worth an email to their support with the S/N.

Cheers folks, just sent an email to them now.
Had a look at the footage and there is only about 30 mins of footage, about 10mins of the owner cycling trough what looks like Rathmines and the rest all looks like Three Rock.
The end of the film is not the camera falling off its mount so it wasn't on at that time.

I sent them a tweet there. They're pretty good at twitter stuff.

I think i've seen videos by CycleDub on Youtube using a Gopro in 3 Rock, and I think he is known as SerialComplaint here? Bit of a long shot.

Just saw this old one now - Thanks for thinking of me, but no, my camera is a cheapo 7dayshop yoke, not a Gopro, so it was definitely not mine.
