Can anyone ID this seed or egg?

I've found these in couple of garden pots (no garden here) outside. They vary in sizes and colour as you can see and once you pop them, they ooze some liquid. Is this a pest or just a seed?

If randomly spread prob a slow release fertiliser like osmocote.if in a large group together then slug eggs.
