been offered a minibus for handy money i want to convert into a camper/race motorhome for 2 motorcycles. whats the story with taxing it. Is it possible to tax it as a van and if so how do i go about doing so. Layout wise will have 2 bike garage at back with double bed above garage.

If you want to tax it commercial you'd essentially be converting it to a crewcab i.e. 50% of the loadbay (garage) dedicated to the 'carriage of goods' windows in this portion blanked out. You'll run foul of customs though if using it privately on commercial tax. Otherwise you'll have to pay private tax or convert to a camper and pay the vrt.
