Can we play Bullsh1t Bingo and guess the patronising questions that Tubbs will ask?
"How important is religion to you?"
"I bet you wouldn't pick a fight with your mammy..."
"How much of a help was the crowd?"

    Etc etc.... :(

The RTE Guide has reported there is a new producer for the LLS named John McHugh.

In that edition dated from September 1st to 7th, Ryan has also predicted that a change in format will be likely to come up this year.

    He said

"It's like a manager of a football team; they're going to play different formations. So I do think that there will be a slight change of scene; what will that be? I don't know. I think it's kind of like shaking the duvet, things need to be freshened up."

What do you think 'the change in it's format' will be?

What I do know is that the first show on Friday is running from 9:35 to 11:40pm.

Could it mean something else like a new set?

Could it mean the end of short interviews on the LLS?

Perhaps they'll keep all the guests out at the same time again? I doubt they'd get a new set, with RTE's budget cuts and the fact the set they have still looks good.

The first change that needs to be made is for the presenter to stop speaking in abstract analogies, metaphors and similes. He thinks he being really clever, but it's the same mealy mouthed, inane waffle that you would expect from his cousins.. I wish they'd just give the show to Mike Murphy, god it would be 1000% better with a REAL person at the helm who's not afraid to bring a bit of humour and bite to the thing. Not a cowardly, safe public school boy on a string.

Is RTE the only tv station in the world that can manage to get in a bidding war with themselves for a guest!! Nice to know they are not wasting money anymore!

Great post. Don't think he is ever going to stop with it. He thinks he is in the Dail, he even wears a suit while presenting his radio show. Here is another one from this week.

“Hosting the 50th, it actually felt like a handover having Gay and Pat there on the show. So it only now feels as if I’m getting my feet under the table. I’ve had to earn my stripes.”

What also needs to change is, he needs to grow a pair of balls and ask proper questions. And not pre - arrange the questions .
I hope this new lad forces him to ask tough questions and make tubbers squirm in his seat.

Zig and Zag have been on just about every radio station this week which means they will not be showing up tonight thank fluich.

I hope there is some sort of discussion on the mental health services and proposed further cuts, considering they have gotten some media attention this week.

Olympic gold medallist Katie Taylor is strongly rumoured to be the star guest on The Late Show tonight. Ryan Tubridy kicks off the 51st season of the show on RTÉ One at 9.30pm. Boyle-born actor Chris O'Dowd of IT Crowd and Bridesmaids fame has tweeted that he'll talk to host Ryan Tubridy about his recent marriage and his new show, Moone Boy.

Heathers, who released their new album Kingdom today, and Mel C have confirmed their appearances on Twitter.
