New lock handle for PVC window?

    I,M getting a pvc window 4x 3 ft secondhand.
IT doesnt have a lock , or handle on the inside,
theres a small window section that can be opened, at the top.
IT needs a new handle ,and lock.
IS there a company near dublin 2, or dublin 11 , or somewhere in between that can fit a lock, handle on the top window.
Can i go to a shop and buy the lock ,and then get a pvc lock expert to install it.
I,M presuming theres a handle that can be fitted that has a lock unit , inside it.
IF not i,ll just get a handle as its going on the first floor.
i took 3 photos of the window,
it has 3 small holes in the lower part of the bezel ,inside ,of the frame.
on the top ,where the old handle was placed.
ie it has no handle at the moment on the inside.
theres a distance of 2.5 inch from hole 1 to hole 3.
The round holes would be about 1 fifth of an inch wide approx.
i can post pics up later of the window ,if anyone wants to see them.
Would i be better off to deliver the window to a pvc lock specialist , and just let him install a handle on the frame.
Does anyone know ,how much a new lock, handle would cost ,including fitting cost.
Theres Just 3 holes at the top.ie theres no gap to fit a pvc cylinder type lock.

    Take a look here.: http://www.mila.ie/

They have a huge range of products and it seems you can order online.
Don't know anything more about them but I did see them mentioned in the DIY forum.

There seems to be 3 types of locks,
    here ,https://www.upvc-hardware.co.uk/handles/tilt-and-turn-window-handles/siegenia-tilt-and-turn-handle
which drives gearing in the window,to lock it,
    here,https://www.upvc-hardware.co.uk/handles/tilt-and-turn-window-handles/hoppe-tilt-and-turn-upvc-window-handle

    tilt and turn type,
and another which simply clamps across , and holds down on the bezel, inside of the window ,to stop window opening.
    http://www.double-glazing-parts-repairs.co.uk/category-window-handles/Replacement-Cockspur-Window-Handle
So i,m not sure which type of lock i need.
i think i,ll have to go to a pvc window shop and show em ,the photos .

i should have opened the window ,and photographed any notches ,or lock engage slots or gaps ,inside the frame.

ye thats exactly what i need to see the handle is a basic enough one that you need but i would need to see what type of locking mechanism the frame takes

I,ll probably go back on thursday, and photograph the inside ,frame ,slots etc and post em here, after 7pm ,thursday.
    Thanks for the advice.

I went back took 7 photos, i can upload em later .
i found a lock that fits perfectly over those 3 holes, i had no screws ,so
i could,nt try to see if it works, it has a metal bar in the middle ,fits thru middle hole , one hole either side ,lines up perfectly with holes in the window.
i,m getting window delivered in 6 days ,next week.lock handle has 1 black button on it.
I opened window, at top ,inside top window, i can see at each end ,bout 2 inches long some type of rectangle part about 1inch high approx , i presume its part of locking mechanism.
it looks very similar to this, uses press down button,

    http://www.joemckenna.ie/basta/basta-window-handle-pvc-key-lock-white

    so i have the lock,handle,
i,d prefer to buy a new lock, with a key , if i could buy one from a shop in dublin.
i dont have any screws to install it ,or try it in the window.
HE says he might have spare lock ,in his shed ,somewhere.
it was getting late so i had to go catch a bus,so i left.
two holes at side ,and lock bar match up exactly,so i think its the right lock.

IT seems as if i get 2 screws ,right size i simply put in 2 screws,
as it says here ,to install the new lock, handle.

see here, i forgot to measure the metal blocks, inside the top panel, space,

one of the pics shows the lock, handle,
which fits exactly over the 3 holes in the frame .
the window is approx 40 inches wide ,looking from the top, front
.as shown in the pictures uploaded.
i notice theres a front piece missing ,from should cover the top, front ,ventilation slot,.about 1inch wide.
so those metal units look to be 1.5 or 2inch long approx, just going by
    looking at the pictures.
ie there should be a cover over the 2 ventilation slots.
the 2 plastic screw covers, fit perfectly into the 2 outer holes ,in the frame.

you need this lock http://www.ncdoubleglazing.co.uk/epages/es112297.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es112297_es121310152893/Products/%22EM16%20/%2022%22/SubProducts/EM16 but you will need to know the lenght of yours and a standard 15mm handle should do the job for you hope that helps

are you saying the handle i my picture is wrong ,
    or its the wrong size,
is there a shop in dublin that sells new handles,

so i need a new handle ,and i need to know is it 25 0r 25mm backset.
is 15mm the length of the metal piece ,bar that goes into the middle hole, other 2 wholes contain screws.
    what does 15mm refer to?
is there a shop in dublin where i can buy the lock and the handle.
Thanks for all the advice ,and info.
you say length, you mean backset distance ,20 r 25mm ,
    i presume?

i found a window, shop in finglas that sells locks, handles ,i,ll buy the lock, then try my handle, i think its too short, ie metal bit very short.
he sells universal handles 15 euro, i know i could get 1 on ebay too.
lock is very long 6 screw holes, bout 2 inches between each hole.
person who sold me window will give me 2 handles for free , if they have the size i need.
i need a cockspur handle for window 2,
Do you happen to know ,what size screws are used in espaq , handle, ie in 2 holes ,one on right, left side.
i understand all the measurements needed,
    thanks for the advice, info.
