Dog's ear is red, seems to be inflammed

    She is also shaking her head and scratching it, not making things any better. I cant see any wax after removing a bit. She will go to the vet tomorrow but in the meantime I was wondering if I could put a bit oh hydrocortisone cream on her. Its the cream I have used for my spidder bites, name is Cortopin 1%
    Would loove to give her a bit of relief. Its not bad at all and not scratching much but it still upsets me

    Not sure if hydrocortisone is the answer...

    Have you tried putting used teabags on the ear, OP? Tea is astringent so might cool down the ear a bit.
