    I know it's a stupid question and the answer is probably staring me in the face on this forum but I can't see it, so how long does your learners permit last?

    I think first learners permit lasts for 2 years?
    Then each renewal for 1 year?

    First is 2 years
    Second is 2 Years
    And any subsequent LP is 1 year.

    i am on my second learners permit both being two years but i have had mine since 1998 . i have to start from scratch. let it lapse
