East coast swell today

I was looking at the M2 buoy today which was reading 3 meter swell, which should have meant epic waves but when I got to the coast it was very flat. Very confused. Anyone have any ideas what was going on?

Swell direction... What spot did you go to? I'd imagine some of it wrapped around MM for some 3ft waves

Did you check the height of the tide??? Low of 1.3 means no real low tide
