    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had any experience of Bottecchia? Was looking at the Emme 2 there and thinking if heading up to Chain Driven to have a look at one. Anyone ride one? Know anything about the brand?

Hired one in Lanzarote recently, first experience of one and was well impressed, thought it had a lovely feel and balance. Considering purchasing one as winter bike.

Thanks for the feedback lads... Don't know if I can justify 4k on a bike I know little about!

Only ridden to victory in possibly the greatest ever TDF !

Though in seriousness it was a brand initially of handbuilt steel bikes. They struggled and eventually went bust with the arrival of Aluminium then Carbon as the preferred materials.
The brand was eventually sold off by recievers and bought then relaunched. The bikes are considered nice/solid but unremarkable.
