    Hi,

I have two copies of The Leader newspaper from 1914 and 1915 and a copy of Irelands Own from 1916. The two papers are full of articles and satires about Home Rule which was one of the major issues of the day. Im just wondering if anyone whould know what these might be worth, they are in very good condition, there is a tear on one of the pages in one of the copies but otherwise very good condition

It's always difficult to value individual copies of newspapers but, on Ebay, newspapers of that period from England can range from about £1 to £5. However, copies of issues of particular importance can be worth a lot more. The really valuable newspapers seem to come from the 18th century where there is real scarcity.

20th century newspapers are now readily available on subscription websites and this could have reduced demand a fair bit.
