    Hi All.

Recently started a new job and am a bit confused on my slip.

I earn monthly gross of €2916.67
    My deductions are as follows.

    Tax - 446.33
    PRSI - 94.63
    USC - 147.56

    Tax credits of 2200,

Does this seem right for my salary or is something a miss here.

Seems accurate enough. PRSI and USC seem right anyway.

What's your standard rate cut off point?

This might assist you then. It's one of these things you just have to spend a bit of time at.

With your prsi and usc spot on , if you have a current medical card , let your employer know .

Your tax credits and cut-off points have obviously been reduced , so you should check this on your tax cert or with tax office , if you cannot understand your tax credit cert.

There is probably a valid reason , and may have to do with your circumstances / earnings earlier this year , or previous years .

As a single person on basic allowances , you would come out with €2328 monthly .:

    Tax - 347.00
    prsi - 95.00
    usc - 147.00
