    Hi Folks

Have NTL about 5 years now and have 2 boxes. Want to upgrade one to HD but have a problem paying the 60 activation fee.

Any way around it does anyone know?

    thanks

If you're out of contract ring 1908 account services tell them you want to cancel. They should put you through to customer loyalty. See if they will waive the fee.

Cheers , That worked. no 60 euro activation fee and reduced the bill by 15 a month including the new hd sub!

Would you mind posting some more details?
What package were you on and what were you paying?
What do you get now and for how much?
    Thanks.

    Sure, of course

    heres what I had
    − Broadband Wifi Installation
    − Digital+
    − Fibre Power Broadband 20Mb
    − Digital Max TV
− Multiroom Viewing (2 recordable boxes)

    Was paying 75 a month.
have the above but got a free HD box delivered and a HD subscription for it and the cost was brought down to 61 a month, Still have second digital + box upstairs.
