Just wondering if anyone could help me out, I've dropped out of college after my second year after realizing my course wasn't what I want to do in the long run. I am instead doing a plc in the coming weeks, which I know is kind of a step backwards, but it's what I hope to do in the future.
The thing is that I was in receipt of BTEA for my two years of college, I'm currently receiving job seekers allowance during the summer and I have no idea how things will stand financially during my plc.

I'm assuming I won't be entitled to anything.. anyone know if that's the case?

    Thanks guys..

not a 100% on this but I understood you got the BTEA once you were progressing in your studies, ie PLC->Undergrad etc..

    1.14.8 Drop out of course
A BTEA participant who fails to complete, or drops out of a course will not be permitted on to the scheme to pursue a different course unless the Department is satisfied that certain circumstances pertain. The condition may be waived where there are mitigating circumstances, for which evidence must be provided, that would make it unreasonable to expect a person to have continued the course. Recovery of amounts paid may be considered.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
