Sounds like a perfect match of artist and venue...

About half of this guy's last album is totally class IMO.

Got my ticket already, and thinking about pairing it up with a trip across the Liffey to see DJ Yoda's new AV show at the Twisted Pepper later on that evening - would certainly be an evening of contrasting musical styles and venues!

Anyone been to a gig in that Church before - what it was like if so?

I've been to a couple there and I think it's a great venue for a gig.

I went to Mick Flannery there last November and it was an extremely cold night out which led to it being quite cold in the church. So maybe be prepared to wrap up!

Given that it's a church, I guess full bar service is too much to expect?

Wine shouldn't be a problem though... do they have a decent glass of Merlot available?

No refreshments of any kind at the gigs I attended.
